Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 19 October 2026

Zed Components Ltd wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website. This statement describes the accessibility of zed-com.com and how to reach us if something does not work for you.

Standard

We aim to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568, which adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at level AA, as required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.

What we have done

  • Pages have a declared language, descriptive titles and a logical heading structure.
  • A "Skip to main content" link appears when you start navigating with the keyboard.
  • All interactive elements, including the menu, carousel controls, modal dialog and forms, can be operated with a keyboard and show a visible focus outline.
  • Images that carry information have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Form fields have labels, and error messages are shown next to the field.
  • Buttons and links that show only an icon have an accessible name.
  • Animations and the auto-playing logo carousel pause on hover, and animations are disabled when your system requests reduced motion.
  • Text can be resized up to 200% in the browser without loss of content.

Known limitations

  • The part number search on the Search page is provided by an external company (ICSource) inside a frame. We do not control its results pages, which may not fully meet the standard. If you have difficulty, send us the part number by email or phone and we will search for you.
  • The live-chat widget is provided by Tawk.to. If it is hard to use, contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp instead.
  • The home page slider contains text rendered as animated captions. The same information appears as regular text further down the page.
